Local Eats: Flying Pig

I have been to The Flying Pig numerous times and have yet to be disappointed. Recently, I caught up with MK over brunch and, once again, I left delightfully stuffed.

Described as a "nouveau Canadian bistro" the restaurant creates delicious dishes, such as: Red Wine Braised Beef Shortribs, Lobster & Prawn Risotto and Bone Marrow Cheezy Bread. I hate brussels sprouts, yet I can eat an entire dish of their Crispy Brussels Sprouts. So amazing.

The atmosphere, the cocktails, the service...everything seems to be in sync at The Flying Pig. If you are downtown Vancouver and are looking for a scrumptious meal, be sure to check them out!

No, I did not get compensated for this post. I wish I was that popular. le sigh.

OMG!!! I saw the title of your post and at first I was like "DO WE LIVE IN THE SAME TOWN!?" We got our flying pig because we were the largest dry county east of the Mississippi, and they had voted on bringing Alcohol to our small town numerous times throughout the years, but in 2007 it finally happened!! Everyone said we'd get alcohol when pigs flew, and now our most popular bar is The Flying Pig!!
